Super Metroid – This is my #2 game of all time, so I think that ought to be enough praise, haha.

While not my favorite in the pantheon, it’s still a fantastic action/adventure game worth playing. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past – A return to form for the series after the experimental Zelda II, Link to the Past set the gold standard for all of the entries to follow. Kirby Super Star – This delightful medley of Kirby platforming and mini games is an epic collection of gameplay goodness! Great visuals and a solid soundtrack round out the package. The battle engine is a little too Dragon Quest-y in terms of execution, and there’s a little confusion on how to actually beat the game, but I adore EarthBound and it’s easily one of the greatest games on the app. Incredible atmosphere, spritework and music back compelling gameplay that allows for a lot of exploration and challenging situations.ĮarthBound – The second best RPG on the system (behind Chrono Trigger) features some of the best localization of any Super Nintendo game, a fantastically bizarre and kooky world to explore, a ton of bops on the soundtrack, and a heartwarming story that just overflows so much heart. The Genesis Switch Online app is here.ĭemon’s Crest – Capcom’s final entry in Firebrand’s trilogy is easily the best. For the Game Boy Advance Switch Online app, visit here.
